Sophronia · 16/02/2017 01:13

Euan. Elliot is too surnamey for me.

ladybird69 · 16/02/2017 01:14

Love Elliot suits all ages.

Leeds2 · 16/02/2017 01:16

Euan. Don't like surnames as first names.

BigCalmJelly · 16/02/2017 01:18

Any name can be a surname?

Elliot is formed from Elias... It isn't exactly an original surname like Williamson!

Always liked Elliot, but then looking at badminton teams in our local school... One list had 3 out of 7 called Elliot. So if you want him to be good at badminton is a good choice of name!

Lochan · 16/02/2017 01:51

Euan- it was on our list if DD had been a boy. Great name.

Jooni · 16/02/2017 07:30

Euan

Afreshstartplease · 16/02/2017 07:31

Ieuan

NanooCov · 16/02/2017 08:18

Elliot. If we ever have another boy it's on our list. Although DH doing the ET thing drove me bonkers with the last one during pregnancy. I doubt you would forever associate your child with a 1980s alien though.

mum2be2boys · 16/02/2017 08:31

Elliot.

It was on our list until I realised that our surname begins with a T, so we'd definitely get the ET references a lot!

MrsEricBana · 16/02/2017 08:33

Much prefer Euan (Ewan). Have heard Elly as nn for Elliot and not keen.

MrsMeeseeks · 16/02/2017 09:10

I love them both equally. Not much help, sorry!

MelCookie · 16/02/2017 09:17

I much prefer Euan.

avaj · 16/02/2017 09:18

Euan, lovely name.
Elliot has always sounded a bit weak to me.

marmitecheesetoast · 16/02/2017 09:22

I've always liked the name Euan. DH won't let me have it on our shortlist though Envy
Must admit Elliot also makes me think of ET, sorry!

KlingybunFistelvase · 16/02/2017 10:39

Elliot, by a smidgen.

KondosSecretJunkRoom · 16/02/2017 10:48

Elliot.

Euan is a bit wet.

NinaMarieP · 16/02/2017 10:56

Euan - but prefer it spelled Ewan.
