Eden??? Eve???

I'm normally quite traditional however the name Eden (girl) feels like the one.
Without offending is this a made up name??
I've not suggested it to my partner yet and feel Eve could be back up but his name is Evan and not sure if it's too similar.
Honest opinions please! I'm open to suggestions but just to note the religious background to names is a coincidence!

Eden is great. Eve is a bit too overused at the moment.

No it's not a made up name, it's a Hebrew name but it is mainly used for boys but it can be a girls name.

Eden is definitely a name. I quite like it.

Lilith is a great one if you want a Garden of Eden name but not Eve or Eden.

Eden. Lovely name. Unusual without being off the wall.

Eden is lovely! Not made up sounding to me at all. I know a little girl called Eden. She is about 6yo.

I prefer Eden to Eve.

It's definitely not made up, although I think it's traditionally a masculine name (more accepted for females now). The Eden I know is now 20.

I also prefer it to Eve.

Eden is a great name.
I like Eve, however every other girl seems to be called Eve/Evie around here. Depends if that would bother you.

I live in a village called Eden in Northern Ireland :) A cousin in Canada named her daughter Eden 10/11 years ago in honour of the village where her Grandma grew up. I think it's a lovely name!

Eden, to me, is a pretty-yet-also-strong name. Win-win.
(And I agree Edie's cute for short).

My new baby is called Eden so I'm a bit biased, I think it's beautiful and lots of people comment on how pretty it is!
