Is it trully and utterly horrible to do that?

Finding it really hard to find a name for DD2 that both DH and I agree.
We have only one name we like but I am not sure about it, as it is too long.

A colleaugue who knew I wanted to find a Spanish name just told me one of the names he likes for his daughter when he has one it Spanish and told me the name.

I did not think anything at the time about the name, did not think I will consider it either. Well I was just trying to see what Spanish names I like, looking through lists online and this one came up and it is kind of growing on me... Will this be so utterly horrible of me to use it? I will feel so horrible and truly utterly guilty if I used it, just so bad.

I thought if things come to worse and this is the only name DH and I agree/love, I can always ask him if he will mind if I also used it, but wouldn't that put him on the spot? Hate feeling like this...

I will only contact him though if I am certain this is a serious option for us to consider :( Feel so gutted...

It's Lucia, in position 1 for a girl name in Spain

Very nice op!

Ah that's all well then.
Would you pronounce it the more English way of Lu-see-a/ loo-aha, or the Italian 'loo-chee-ah'?

Mum8 · 02/02/2017 15:54

Lu-SEE-a, love that the most

That's a lovely name - glad it worked out well.
