For a girl

Sylvie - is it too old & will everyone assume Sylvia?
Violet - is it becoming too popular?
Kit - I honestly really like this but more a boys name & dont like the options of Katherine etc as a full name
Sky - Is it a trend that is now over? (if sky middle name suggestions?)

Ooh I don't like Kit fit a girl. Kitty's nice though, if not a tad twee.
Sylvie is very cute. I'm less keen on Sylvia.
I can't stand Violet.
Same with Sky.

Sky is sounding a little dated already in my opinion yes.
Kit is definitely a boy's name so I'd scratch that one completely.
Violet I just don't understand the love for.
Sylvie I like. I actually prefer Sylvia and people might well think it's Sylvia at first, but I'm not sure that's a huge problem. Easy enough to correct them and from then on they'll know it's Sylvie.

I like kit for a girl.
I really like Sylvie but discounted it for my soon to be born dd as I don't like sylv.
I like violet a lot.
I'm not keen on sky.
Overall my favourite is Violet, it's a great name.

Violet, pretty middle name.
Sky, not for me.

Sylvie is my favourite from your list. Only like Skye with the e like the island. Violet is OK but not keen on kit as a stand alone name.

Can't get past 'violent' with Violet, sorry. It's the reason we didn't pick the name. Love Sylvie though!

I really like Sylvie! Sylvia nice too but think Sylvie is nicer. I know a Sylvie, lovely name, not sure how much bother she has with Sylvie/Sylvia.
Not so keen on the others I'm afraid.

I like Kit short for Katherine but not on its own. Sylvie is nice. I'm a bit bored of Violet and Sky seems a bit insubstantial, it prefer it as a middle name.

Sylvie seems to be rocketing in popularity so I wouldn't worry about it sounding 'old'.

Violet definitely, not too popular as still out of top 50 last year. Delicate but still punchy & so sweet on a baby/little girl and graceful on a grown woman!
