Is this weird?

No. Babies eyes change colour anyway :) but I don't think of it as a name you have to name after the eyes!

No - would t occur to me there should be a correlation, and anyway, I thought (nearly) all babies have dark blue / grey eyes when they're born?

Heratnumber7 · 22/01/2017 18:40

No.
No weirder than calling a dark haired child Bianca or an atheist child Christopher.

Dragonfly3 · 22/01/2017 18:41

Not weird at all. I think more of a hazel tree than the eye colour when I hear the name..

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/01/2017 19:19

Absolutely fine.

Laquila · 22/01/2017 19:23

Not weird at all, and the likelihood is that they won't stay blue for long.

namesstress2323 · 22/01/2017 19:43

It's not likely they will change colour to Hazel as all family have blue / green eyes, but thanks everyone X

If that was the case. There would be no Hazels, as. All babies are born with dark blue eyes.

Yeah that's a lovely name. I don't think the eye colour matters. Hazel is named from the tree anyway as much as the colour.
