Dante second. To be fair Jason probably sounds much better in a US context than it does in the UK, where it's a bit dated and 80s.

I love the name, Dante. I know 3 and they are all hardworking, sweet, lovely (and entirely incidentally to the thread, African American) teenage boys.

I also like Darnell but it does remind me a bit of 'darn'.

Dante by a country mile. I've always liked that name.

Jason is ok but so dated and not in a good way. It screams 1980s. (Not sure if thats an issue in the US though)

Omari I'm not keen on, makes me think of calamari...

I think Darnell is terrible and seems quite feminine to me.
