I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and we don't have a clue on names now. We did have a short list but we don't really like any of them that much!

Our shortlist was:
Joseph
Arthur
Edward
Benjamin
William (really like this but my BIL is a William)
Oscar

Our DD is Elizabeth but we call her Zibby. I think we want something with a quirky NN, something like Ben would just seem a bit boring?

So now I'm wondering if we should go less traditional, or just go with a boring name, or I did think we could go with Joseph and call him Joss??

I don't know. It's too hard! Help!

Xander (as in Alexander) and Zibby sounds cool.

Zibby and Woody is really cool, and Elizabeth and Edward is very elegant/regal.
Same with Oscar/Ozzy.
I know an Austin who is Ozzy.
Christopher (Kit) is also good.

Some others I've thought of:
Ezekiel nn Zeke
Malachi nn Mally
Elias or Elijah Nn Eli
Finnian nn Finn
Jasper nn Jaz?

What do people think of Joshua James?

JJ or Jay for NN. Joshua has come a bit out of the blue (DH) but I quite like it? Although it is a bit more boring than Zibby.

Joshy is cuter than JJ I think?!

one Joseph I know is called Jove/Jovie because his big sister called him baby Jovus for a long time so that stuck. The other one is called Joe-Bee (Joseph Benjamin) which is quite sweet.

Benedict nn Ned? I loved this for DS but the deragatory meaning in Scotland put me off. Still regret not using it.
