Names for our first baby

Please help narrow down our shortlist. DH not being very helpful and leaving me to choose, saying he likes them all.

Any of your boys. I love Joseph, but mainly because of Joe. I think with those names you need to think about the shortenings and whether you like them.

I like Lucy, Esme, and Thea.

Esme Suzanne is lovely.

Joseph Sebastian sounds nice too.

I like Eleanor best from your girls names. I also like Esme, and Lucy is fine. Not so keen on Elena or Thea.

I like Esme Susanne and Joseph best

Thea and Esme - classic but not common. Unusual enough to not be the 4th one in the class.
Lucy - too common.
Eleanor - old ladies name.

Joseph all the way.
All the Samuels I've known have been wet and drippy "Saaaaam". Plus makes me think of fat little Sam Weller in the Pickwick Papers.
Sebastian is very fey. All a bit too Brideshead Revisited.

Eleanor is lovely. 2nd Lucy, but the others are OK.
Your boy's names are all nice.
