A middle name for Esme...

DH sand I both love the name so 99.99% sure DD will be Esme. Favourites so far for a middle name are:

Esme Alexandra
Esme Harriet
Esme Catherine

But does anyone have anything else to suggest?

Esme Hope. I think a monosyllabic name works best.

Esme Rose. I know Rose is used a lot for middle names but it's a favourite of mine because it's my middle name

I was going to say esme rose too. I think you should choose another four letter name, it will roll off the tongue better (and be easier for her to spell)!

I also think the Rose/May/Grace middle names are lovely but overused.

Depends on how many syllables in the surname.
If its a 1 syllable surname then I reckon a longer middle name would sound nicer, eg. Esme Rosalind Smith
If its a long surname then a 1 syllable middle name would sound good, eg. Esme Hope Alexander
I think if its a 2 syllable surname then a 2 syllable middle name works well
Eg. Esme Catherine Herbert

Esme should be short for Esmerelda, and the middle names should be Margaret Note Spelling.
