Noah

Of the two, Alfie, preferably with Alfred on the BC to give a more grown up option.

I have an irrational dislike of Noah.

Noah

ScarletForYa · 06/01/2017 18:59

Noah.

Alfie is over.

Booksellerswar · 06/01/2017 19:07

Noah like my lovely nephew

MikeUniformMike · 06/01/2017 19:10

Both fine but too popular. Of the two, Noah.

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 06/01/2017 19:11

Noah always makes me think of someone emphatically saying 'no'.

Sophronia · 06/01/2017 19:15

Alfred with Alfie for short

DramaAlpaca · 06/01/2017 19:18

Waitrose that's similar to why I don't like Noah, except that I think of it as someone saying 'no' indecisively!

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 06/01/2017 19:40

Drama Grin'Nooooo-ah'

girlelephant · 06/01/2017 19:48

Noah

CactusFred · 06/01/2017 19:52

Noah if you are set on one or the other.

All the Alfie's I know are chavs.

Pemba · 06/01/2017 23:28

Don't like Noah much so I'd say Alfie. It's cute but you can still imagine it on a teenager or adult. Not sure about Alfred on the birth certificate, while I am usually strongly in favour of 'full name on birth certificate to give options later' Alfred just doesn't seem a very attractive name somehow, quite different from Alfie. Which is probably daft, I know.

NameChange2017 · 06/01/2017 23:44

DTwin2 is Noah Grin

TallulahBetty · 06/01/2017 23:45

Noah. Alfie is just meh to me.

kelj2 · 06/01/2017 23:49

Alfie! I've never actually met and Alfie so to me it's not a popular name. Noah on the other hand is super popular and I know quite a few. I also just think Alfie sounds cute

1horatio · 06/01/2017 23:50
  1. Alfred
  2. Noah
Aquamarine1029 · 07/01/2017 01:36

Both are way overused.

OliviaBensonOnAGoodDay · 07/01/2017 01:42

Noah. I hear Alfie so much - almost every girl I know who had a baby while we were still at school called hers Alfie (the male babies, obviously), it was very in at the time, so there's a gaggle of school aged ones now in our area. I hear it in every classroom, on every bus, soft play, supermarket...

LTBforGin · 07/01/2017 02:11

We have an Alfie.
He isn't a chav. I have yet to meet another Alfie bias of course
