EatSpamAmandaLamb · 03/01/2017 07:29

It's a surname. We had about 18 of them in my school year (NI).

And this guy (see photo)

Basically it's a terrible.

Thoughts on Keegan please?
Somersetlady · 03/01/2017 07:34

Honestly. Eughhh.

GrumpySausage · 03/01/2017 07:36

Before I even opened the thread I knew I'd see lots of Kevin's.

Sorry, I immediately thought of Kevin and I don't even do football.

WetNovemberDay · 03/01/2017 07:39

Man perms and Kevin cone to mind!

AuntieStella · 03/01/2017 07:41

Kevin could be a better choice.

Ohyesiam · 03/01/2017 07:43

Really bad.

catsarenice · 03/01/2017 09:02

People may ask if he's named after Kevin Keegan but they're not going to see a bloke with a dodgy mullet, they'll see your beautiful baby. If you like it, go for it! Also, there are plenty of surname/first names around e.g. Mason etc so don't let that put you off!

Loyly · 03/01/2017 09:05

Awful, sorry.

321zerobaby · 03/01/2017 09:08

And it's a Kevin from me.

ScruffyTheJanitor · 03/01/2017 09:08

It is a first name, Keegan Michael Key is an actor and presenter in the US.
Maybe OP is from US?

NataliaOsipova · 03/01/2017 09:11

I thought of Kevin Keegan too! I've never been a football fan, but I think he was generally thought of as a good bloke though.....

HollySykes · 03/01/2017 09:14

Rough

PotatoWaffleCob · 03/01/2017 09:17

#And it looks like I'm falling all over again, head over heels in looove with yoooooou#.

TaggieRR · 03/01/2017 09:19

Not keen sorry!

FairNotFair · 03/01/2017 09:20

Bubble perm

LucyInTheSkyWithDonuts · 03/01/2017 09:22

Awful. Just because someone else has used it as a first name doesn't stop it being a surname.

NewTownVelocity · 03/01/2017 09:26

Absolutely awful.

user1483387154 · 03/01/2017 09:31

really dislike

Gallavich · 03/01/2017 09:31

Princess Tiiaami is someone's first name, doesn't make it a normal first name does it?
Apple?
Moon Unit?
Keegan is a surname.

mrspitt · 03/01/2017 09:34

Couldn't not answer on this one!!
I have a Keegan.
In Gaelic it means little fiery one. And boy did I pick the right name for my son, though not so much little now at 6ft 3!
Plenty people use surnames as first names, though in my opinion Keegan is a first name.
Don't worry about what other people think. Your baby. Your choice Smile

IAmNotTheOneWhoKnocks · 03/01/2017 09:38

What about Kieran? Sounds similar and is less Kevin-y.

Threelittlerobins · 03/01/2017 09:40

Kevin. 70s. Dodgy perm.

1horatio · 03/01/2017 09:44

What about Christian? Kieran? Kirk? Kalan? Kano? Kin? Kinney? Kurt?
