What do you think of the name Seraphina? What nicknames do you imagine she'd get (I do like Sera)?

Also, do you prefer the spelling Seraphina or Serafina?

I prefer Seraphina,

Love the name, btw :)!

As for nicknames.... idk, maybe Saph? Pheena? Sephie? Fee-fee?

Only1scoop · 31/12/2016 09:47

Spelling as in title nn Finn

mumhum · 31/12/2016 09:51

Seraphina, nn Seph. Lovely name

Jooni · 31/12/2016 09:53

It's a bit long and fussy for my tastes.

Sephy, Effie, Sera, Fin, Fina

I think I prefer Serafina actually. It looks a bit fiercer.

SuperFlyHigh · 31/12/2016 09:53

Really pretty name and not one I'd heard of before. I also think Seraphine would work well too.

Staranise123 · 31/12/2016 10:14

Seraphina is beautiful!

Nicknames evolve naturally but Seraphina is so pretty, I'd not shorten it regularly.

FannyWincham · 31/12/2016 10:18

I know a Seraphina who goes by Raffy. It really suits her.

Pheebs77 · 31/12/2016 10:27

Its very pretentious it'd only suit a certain type of child

Sophronia · 31/12/2016 15:42

Seraphina is nice.

Sera

Love it. It was on our list but we had a boy. So one of our tooth fairies by coincidence is called this...

Saffy also as a nn?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 31/12/2016 17:26

Very pretty !
Saffy.

MrsMarigold · 31/12/2016 17:30

I knew a Seraphina, known as Seri. Lovely name also lover Sabrina, and Serena

SausageSoda · 31/12/2016 17:58

I prefer the spelling Seraphina. Saffy or Seri are the most obvious nn's I can think of.

Sera sounds too much like it would be mistaken for Sara/Sarah.

Sophronia · 31/12/2016 18:31

Sephie

MyBootsAreMuddy · 31/12/2016 18:36

I think Seraphina lovely. Dd1 16yrs has a friend in 6th form who is known own as Sephie or Phie.

DramaAlpaca · 31/12/2016 18:38

I adore Seraphina.

I'd probably go for Fina as a nn.

CruCru · 03/01/2017 15:56

Seraphina is very nice.

SovietKitsch · 03/01/2017 19:16

I prefer the Serafina spelling but my DD is ph spelling and love the NN Fina. It means fiery and ardent which is one of the reasons it appealed to me!

Bibblitybob · 04/01/2017 15:32

I know a Serafina, she goes by Fina.
