I have a Zachary shortened to Zach. I find I do use both names as do his teachers and friends. I still love it. He's the only one out of my friends kids and at his school.

Chalky

Does he have a middle name?

I have a very common surname (Smith) so if i decide on Luke i was thinking Luke Ethan Smith. With Zach or Zachary i have no idea what would go as a middle name.

My Zachary/Zach is the only one I know

And I have 2 at primary school and we go to playgroups/swimming classes etc so I know quite a number of children and babies

I do think it's gaining popularity recently though which is a bit annoying Grin

Zac

I don't like the version with an 'h'

Does he have a middle name?

Yes - but a short single syllable to go with the three syllables in Zachary.

I don't really have much of an issue when people misspell 'zach' - it is after all a knickname or pet name in a way. We know how we spell it!

I know a Zac (7) and Zakaria (5).

Also a Zeb (Zebulon, 9)

I have an 11 yo Zach short for Zachary.

I know 2 others, a Zac and a Zack.

We struggled to find a middle name to go with Zach so decided on Jacob as it flowed well after Zachary.

Zack (if that's on the BC) Smile

Zachary for the bc.

It's a really lovely name.
Nickname Zack or Zac.

But I don't think the spelling of a nickname matter that much.

DD's name is Clarissa and her nickname is Clarie. But I'm actually not sure whether that's Clary or Clarie, tbh.
