Clara

What are your thoughts on the name Clara? I really like it but oh worries it might sound like we are trying too hard/ being pretentious. I like it because I think it's strong and feminine at the same time.

What does he mean 'trying too hard'?? Clara is a perfectly reasonable name isn't it? It's not like... I dunno Eglantine or something! I think it's classic and pretty and strong. Not always possible in a name, love it! :)

DD is Clarissa. But I also love the name Clara.

It looks pretty, but I don't really like the KHLAR sound.

It wouldn't be a name of my choice as I'm not a great fan of 'classic' names but I don't think its try-hard or pretentious.
