I like Matthew and Adam

Matthew - Nice name, nice shortenings, by far my favourite.

Adam - OK but no short versions

Lewis - bit modern for me

Haydn - I'm not even convinced it is really a name. Will be a pain as it will be constantly misspelt, and you'll never find personalised things in tacky tourist shops with the name.

Matthew is lovely. Adam is nice. I don't like Lewis or Haydn.

I like Haydn (although I prefer Hayden). I also like Lewis. Both are nice and a little different without being odd.
There are so many Matthew's at our school and quite a few Adams too. They are nice but very popular around here.

Jigglealltheway · 16/12/2016 22:26

Matthew or Adam.

Lewis

Matthew. Have taught far too many 'challenging' boys called Lewis or Hayden/Haydn, and Adam is OK but a bit 1980s for me.

buttercup54321 · 16/12/2016 23:29

I love Matthew

Matthew. Great name and really underused now.

Teen

It's a Welsh name. How arrogant you sound

RebelandaStunner · 17/12/2016 08:01

Joint first- Matthew, Lewis and Haydn.

Adam- not favourite but ok.

10Betty10 · 17/12/2016 10:01

Haydn first. I actually tally like this spelling (I've noticed this website can be a little snobby about less conventional spellings- so I wouldn't take it to heart!)
Lewis second. Good strong name.

I find Adam and Matthew a bit bland compared to be honest (probably because i have met so many of them over the years!)

Hope that helps Smile

*really not tally
