Would it be okay to name my baby boy Lewis Johnson? Johnson is our surname. Thanks!

PotteringAlong · 13/12/2016 12:02

Definitely didn't get the John Lewis connection Blush

SirChenjin · 13/12/2016 12:03

Oh! No, definitely didn't get the John Lewis connection either Grin

SausageSoda · 13/12/2016 12:19

I'd never in a million years get the John Lewis connection. You're overthinking this OP Grin

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/12/2016 12:52

Sorry but the first things I thought was. That its practically a reverse of John Lewis.

Gruffalosfriend · 13/12/2016 13:54

I think it's fine.

ReggieJones · 13/12/2016 13:59

I wouldn't have got the connection

Sophronia · 13/12/2016 18:22

It's fine

1horatio · 13/12/2016 20:52

Wouldn't have thought of that. It's fine. Sounds nice. :)

WyfOfBathe · 13/12/2016 21:06

I did think of John Lewis straight away. But I don't think it's an awful connection (it's not like being called Ann Summers, which I would definitely avoid Grin).

DramaAlpaca · 13/12/2016 23:47

It's fine.

CakeRattleandRoll · 14/12/2016 00:03

I didn't get the connection at all. It's fine.

Xmasbaby11 · 14/12/2016 00:04

I immediately thought of John Lewis.

KnowOneNose · 14/12/2016 00:09

First thing I thought of. In fact when I saw the thread title I momentarily wondered why there was a thread about John Lewis in the baby name section. TBF my reading comprehension isn't that great 😂

Actually I think you could use it. They are both classic names and they go well together. There are already lots of actual John Lewis's of the none store kind out there.

lewishjohnson · 19/12/2016 01:35

Well, My mother and father did this and, they lived very happy lives. :0

FatherNoelFurlong · 19/12/2016 02:04

No. Im in Ireland and I instantly thought of john lewis and we dont even have John Lewis here.

Wouldnt do Thomas Brown either!

hoddtastic · 20/12/2016 12:34

Louis is nicer than Lewis, and wouldn't link to the dept store

Choccyhobnob · 20/12/2016 12:57

I would never have gotten the John Lewis connection.
