Alessia, Clara or Sofia?

Which name do you prefer for DD3? DH is Italian and we have an Italian surname.

DDs are Emma and Lucia.

Sofia

Does your surname end in an 'a'? Mine is a long italian surname with lots of rolling 'a's I used Emma as DD's middle name, works well. Clara probably not, Chiara would maybe work? Lucia is beautiful, but will be miss pronounced in the UK. Do the names fit with your other DC's?

Always - DD1 and DD2 are named Emma and Lucia. We're deciding between Alessia, Clara and Sofia for DD3. So our girls would be -

Emma, Lucia and Alessia
Emma, Lucia and Clara
or
Emma, Lucia and Sofia.

Surname is three syllables and ends in O.

Clara. I really like Sofia but the ending is maybe a little too close to Lucia.

Prefer Clara, as Sofia and Lucia might have a bit too similar endings, as pointed out. Clara is a lovely name.

Sofia - I have an 11 year old one, one of my other daughters (I have three) has a name that also ends in ia, it's never been an issue. To be very honest I didn't even realise until dd1 and dd2 names ended in the same two letters until dd2 was about 4 . I'm a chronic underthinker when it comes to names - I just pick my favourite.

I adore the names Clara and Cora. I also think Sophia is timeless.

They're all nice and would go really well, but my favourite is Sofia.

I love Clara and Sofia. Sofia is on our list too.
