Aurora Rose or Aurora Violet?

Hi all,

Posted another thread earlier about middle names for the name Aurora, nn. Rory. We're now decided on either Rose or Violet or a middle name, but can't choose between the two. Which one do you prefer?

She will be a sister to Iris Luna, nn. Irie.

Any suggestions would be welcome on the other thread, but we're pretty settled on either of these two!

Rose is very sweet and Disney like
violet has more of an edge

I actually really like both but the above to me is the difference between them

Aurora Rose is like a Disney princess (Sleeping Beauty is called both Aurora and Briar Rose in the Disney film). It is a pretty name, but just flagging the connection as that may or may not irritate you.....

Aurora Rose is Disney's Aurora's actual name though, isn't it? If I'm honest I'd be a bit hearing that and assume you were a massive Disney princess fan

I would choose Aurora Rose over Aurora Violet.

I do know a (beautiful) Aurora who is expecting a sister Luna, the names go beautifully together!
