Thoughts on this as a first name....

I like it, would you have a longer name on the birth certificate like Anne or Anna?

Ames33 · 07/12/2016 23:30

Love it. My friends 3 year old DD is Annie and she is so adorable, just like the name!

Tomorrow tomorrow I love ya tomorrow your only a day away.....

dontpokethebear · 07/12/2016 23:33

I have an Annie, but it is a nickname/abbreviation. So I am a bit biased!

Sophronia · 07/12/2016 23:39

Love it

This was top of our list had DC3 been a girl. My other girls names are very pretty, so we were planning on going for Anastasia on the birth certificate. Seems ludicrous now! Annie on its own is beautiful enough.

Annie is a great choice & there's no need to put a 'proper' name on the bc.

Neither of those names are longer than Annie!
I like it as it is, OP.

Love it.

And it's fine as a standalone name. I know two adult Annies, neither of whom are Anne or Anna.

SausageSoda · 08/12/2016 09:12

I like it and wouldn't use Anne or Anna.

I find it too cutesy.

Anna, Antonia, Anastasia etc are far more elegant and feminine imo.

Backhometothenorth · 08/12/2016 14:16

I have a 4 year old Annie- just Annie on birth certificate. We love her name and so does she- she can shorten to Anne as a nn if she likes Wink

MollyHuaCha · 08/12/2016 14:34

Nice

Cloeycat · 08/12/2016 14:36

I love Annie and it was near the top of my list! Go for it

septembersunshine · 08/12/2016 19:01

I know a 6 year old Annie and we were going to go with Annabel and call her Annie for short...with the idea she could go with Anna if she wanted too. Love it on it's own though.

Lou2711 · 08/12/2016 19:14

My DD is Annie, me and do fell in love with the name and don't regret not giving her a"full" name
