Opinions? As a full-name, not a NN

Sounds like a noise. Or a gnat.

Spencers · 06/12/2016 21:04

Fine as a nickname for Nathaniel, but not on its own.

ChocoChou · 06/12/2016 21:05

For a boy or a girl? Nat like Nat King Cole? Or Nat like Natalie King Cole?

Either way I'm not keen I'm afraid.
Gnat, fat nat, cow pat nat, etc....

Heratnumber7 · 06/12/2016 21:06

It's a little buzzy insect. Nathan or Nathaniel are much nicer.

Sophronia · 06/12/2016 21:17

Only nice as a nn

Corneliagoescamping · 06/12/2016 21:21

Love it.

JollyHockeyGit · 06/12/2016 21:23

I wouldn't want to be called Nat. How about Nate? I love that.

I much prefer Nate also.

Nat isn't much of a name really.

Bedsheets4knickers · 06/12/2016 22:37

I love Nate (wish I'd thought of that )

lastqueenofscotland · 06/12/2016 23:15

Nate is lovely
Nat=gnat

TheDowagerCuntess · 06/12/2016 23:17

It's hard to get excited about it.

You must have a reason for liking it.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 06/12/2016 23:20

My uncle was Nathaniel, nn Nat. IMO it's more of a nickname. Cute, but needs something substantial behind it.

DearSantaDefineGood · 06/12/2016 23:26

Someone has been watching the secret life of 5 year olds tonight Grin

Not keen on the name tbh. Makes me think of a nit. I also prefer Nate.

Jooni · 07/12/2016 08:05

I like it. Much prefer Nat to Nate.

Gruffalosfriend · 07/12/2016 13:52

Sorry, I donb't like the sound of Nat at all - gnat, fat nat, cow pat nat is what comes to my mind too.

I also know a Natalie whose nickname is sometimes Nat.
