Because Finley can be spelled Finlay - and you and your son will forever be going "Finley with an E" and you'll be back he on MN in a few years going "why can't people spell my DS's name properly, even his Nan spells it wrong " or similar

I really like Ethan, it's a traditional Biblical name. Not so keen on Finley.
