Opinions on Eliana? Smile

A made up name from a fantasy series springs to mind
To me it looks like a collection of weak syllables with too many vowels. Nothing to distinguish it really.

MikeTeavee · 06/12/2016 11:10

Shock well, it isn't... But thanks

It's pretty. Nice shortenings too.

SleightOfMind · 06/12/2016 11:14

My cousin's little girl has this name. Her father is Italian (my cuz is French).
It sounds very sweet with their accents.

Gruffalosfriend · 06/12/2016 14:06

Eliana is really beautiful! It sounds very elegant and pretty and isn't overused. Love it!

Gruffalosfriend · 06/12/2016 14:07

But please don't shorten such a beautiful name to Ellie!

MikeTeavee · 06/12/2016 14:12

I definitely won't! I can't stop her friends/her though, but she would always be Eliana (to me!)

Lovely name.

Dontrocktheboat · 06/12/2016 14:55

I like it - think it is maybe Hebrew/ Jewish (?) do not made up. Would not shorten to Ellie though.

welshweasel · 06/12/2016 15:02

I prefer Elana (pronounced el-AAH-na) but Eliana is ok.

ChocoChou · 06/12/2016 16:04

Very pretty, I like it. Easy to pronounce so even if you hadn't come across the name before it wouldn't cause a problem

AutumnalLeaves38 · 06/12/2016 16:46

Unusual and pretty.

Xmas Smile
Rosaaa · 07/12/2016 08:14

Very pretty name.

SquirrelPaws · 07/12/2016 08:26

I really like it. My friend has one, now 3, and an acquaintance has a baby one.

Hulaballoo · 07/12/2016 15:27

Very popular in Spain, Portugal and Brazil. X

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 07/12/2016 15:28

Very pretty for a girl and equally as nice as she grows up.Smile

Well, the name surely is interesting, and I would definitely feel impressed by a girl named Eliana :)
