Hi,

I already have a Rory, could we name DC Rudy or is it too similar?

Thanks!

I actually think they sound great together! Maybe practice calling Rudy and if Rory replies, they're too similar?

GreatFuckability · 05/12/2016 19:11

I don't think they are too alike no. if you like it go for it. I do like both names, I think i prefer Rudi as a spelling though.

One thing to consider is accidental portmanteau-img the name.
I have a Ruby and DSis has a Rory. It's been known that if I have both and am shouting them back at the park (or similar) that I shout Ruaraidh by mistake (instead of "Ruby,Rory") Blush

I know loads of people who have DC with first names with the same first letter -including me- and I think it's cute.
Rory and rudy are lovely.

Rudy would be fine with Rory

DramaAlpaca · 05/12/2016 20:37

Not too similar, no.

They are very cute together.

Gruffalosfriend · 06/12/2016 10:14

Rory is lovely but Rudi (Rudolph) sounds like someone rude, a rude-y!

Nonameyet1 · 06/12/2016 20:13

I think a little too similar.
