Daphne or Lola

One is my favourite girls name and the other is my dh favourite, we both like each other's. Which do you prefer?

I wanted to have Lola as our option for a girls name but DP vetoed as he couldn't get the Kinks song out of his head!! I still think Lola is a lovely name Smile

Daphne is my favourite! I'm not sure who daphne broon is but I don't think I want to google it Grin
I do like Lola though, the Kinks song weirdly makes me like it even more!

Lola is nice too, but to me Daphne is just so sophisticated & classy.

I'd never have got it past my DH though, sadly.

Thanks everyone, I'm pleased I got some extra opinions. As much as I love it, I thought Daphne might be considered a bit old fashioned by more people.

I like both names, but I prefer Daphne.
