Which do you prefer?

And how inevitable do you think the nickname "Jules" is?

Juliet.

My DD is a Juliet and Jules hasn't happened yet. Ju-Ju is her nickname :)

Sophronia · 04/12/2016 19:43

If you don't like jules could you use Etta or Ettie as nn?

KlingybunFistelvase · 04/12/2016 20:07

Julia

Pluto30 · 04/12/2016 20:17

I've known two Julias before, and neither got Jules, but one did get something similar to Ju-Ju (doesn't bother me). But I'm not sure if they were just exceptions to the rule. Grin

Juliet

MrPoppersPenguins · 04/12/2016 20:37

Julia. Both lovely though

SallyGinnamon · 04/12/2016 20:39

I'm Julia, always wanted to be Juliet and only my dad called me Jules!

SallyGinnamon · 04/12/2016 20:39

So prefer Juliet obviously!

GraceGrape · 04/12/2016 20:42

I like them both, but if I had another DD I would call her Julia.

NamelessEnsign · 04/12/2016 20:44

Both are lovely and uncommon but not usual.

You occasionally hear of 'Jet' as short for Juliet, of which I am rather fond.

aurorie11 · 04/12/2016 20:44

I know a Julia she is a Jules
I have a Juliet, her family nickname is Ettie. Her brother used to call her Ju-Ju et

serialbunburyist · 04/12/2016 20:49

Juliet. I know one who goes by Leti, which I really like.

LynetteScavo · 04/12/2016 20:57

Juliet is far nicer Smile

BikeRunSki · 04/12/2016 20:59

Juliet. My fantasy twin DDs are called Josephine and Juliet.

Meeep · 04/12/2016 21:03

I used to like Juliet, that was on my list when I had DD, but now I much much prefer Julia.

SausageSoda · 04/12/2016 21:37

Juliet - lovely name.

Not keen on Julia I think Julia would be more likely to get shortened maybe.

EweAreHere · 04/12/2016 21:40

Juliet. Just so pretty.

rainbow99 · 04/12/2016 22:56

Juliet - much nicer and also nn options other than the inevitable Jules

mendandmakedo · 04/12/2016 23:02

What's wrong with a nn of Jules?

BadToTheBone · 04/12/2016 23:16
