Billy or Noah?

Billy, or would you consider William with him being known as Billy? As an adult he can revert to the full name, stick with Billy, or decide to go for Bill or Will.
Billy is gorgeous on it's own though.

Noah by a long shot. I really detest the name Billy.

Billy reminds me of a goat for some reason...? I think I also prefer the full name William.

I would pick Noah as for me Billy is a shortened form of William and I prefer the traditional 'full' names as I think it gives more options.

Billy. Loads of Noahs around and it will date. Billy/Bill is timeless.

I really like both but probably prefer Noah. It was on my list for DS1 but didn't really match my surname which starts with an E and two vowels together can sound strange. Something to think about if it's relevant!

William would be on the BC, but I would never use it.

Ooooh Noah for me unless it's William on BC. I do like some name shortenings on BCs, but not billy really. I do like it as a nn option though.

William is a lot more classic and Billy is cute. I don't really get all the current love for Noah - and I think it's current popularity will always be dated to this time.
