Due dc3 in a couple of months and we won't be finding out the sex. We're sorted for a boys name, but agreeing on a girls name is proving more difficult.

We both like the name Amber. Does it work with Brown as the last name though?

I don't think it works, sorry.

sortthetacheoutbernard · 26/11/2016 17:15

I dont think so. Sorry

SquedgieBeckenheim · 26/11/2016 17:16

I would steer clear of any colour names with a surname like Brown, sorry!

If AmberBrown was an actual colour,it would be beautiful. I think it sounds a rather romantic name.

I like it! Amber is very beautiful stuff. It's not like you're thinking of calling her Jade or Violet which are not brown. Grin

Hazel is another option if you actually want to highlight the connection.

PterodactylToenails · 26/11/2016 18:50

No I don't think so either.

Amber Brown is a book character I believe, I loved them as a child. I'm sure that was it.
