I think a 3 syllable name, ending in a, with the emphasis on the middle syllable.

So;

Louise Perdita
Louise Georgina
Louise Jemima
Louise Miranda

twofloorsup · 25/11/2016 21:42

That's thrown me a bit as the one I like is one syllable Smile

Louise is a middle name. Still, if you love it, what about Rose?

peaceloveandbiscuits · 25/11/2016 23:34

My full name has been mentioned quite a few times on here. Makes me happy Smile Louise most certainly is not just a middle name.

I don't see Louise as a middle name only. Hence choosing it as a first name Smile

Louise is certainly not just a middle name.

I think lots of lovely names are wasted by being thought of as middle names. Grace, for example.

If you like one syllable names, I'd go for one without an S sound in it. (So not Grace!)

How about Fern?

twofloorsup · 26/11/2016 09:55

I like Grace actually Smile

Yes, I like Grace. Lots of people use it as a throw away middle name, though.

Use it if you want. I'm just a randomer on the internet!

MichaelBuble · 26/11/2016 22:46

Louise Claire Smile

Love the name Louise and agree that it's underused as a first name.

If you like one syllable names...

Louise Grace is lovely!

BlueChampagne · 26/11/2016 22:53

Louise is a lovely name and no doubt she'll be the only one in her class (and probably school). Hmm, one syllable ...

Rose
Hope
Joy
Belle

Louise Belle was actually what I had in mind but I don't know if it sounds ok as an adult name ?

I would use Louise Isabella or Louise Isobel, if 'Bella' appeals to you.

I prefer Louisa Belle to Louise Belle. I don't think Louise Belle flows very well.

I agree with posters who suggest a long middle name and also one that begins with a vowel.

mathanxiety · 27/11/2016 02:07

if 'Belle' appeals to you...

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 27/11/2016 02:57

What about a family name? It doesn't need to 'go'.
