Baby girl is 3 weeks old today and still no name! I have been trying to choose between Callie and Mariella but cannot come to a decision in which to use as a first name..
So it would be
Callie Mariella Hartles
Mariella Callie-Rose Hartles

I'm going that crazy in even considering Callie-Mariella Hartles

I think I do love Mariella a tiny bit more but think Callie is a bit prettier?

Help!

Mariella, definitely.

To me Callie feels unfinished and as though its a nn for something longer.

Callie-Mariella is a bit too much of a mouthful!

Personally, not a fan of hyphenated names so I'd go with:
Mariella Callie Hartles
Mariella Rose Hartles (my fave)
Mariella Callie Rose Hartley

Mariella Rose definitely. The names Callie and Mariella are from completely different ponds IYSWIM.
Mariella is classy and elegant. Callie not so much.

I think Mariella is beautiful as a first name. I also don't think it goes well with Callie so would suggest Mariella Rose Smile

Another vote for Mariella Rose.

Mariella is gorgeous, much more so than Callie.

blueskyinmarch · 25/11/2016 13:39

Mariella Rosa here too. It is beautiful and can be shortened to some other lovely names Ella, Ellie, Mari etc.

MrEBear · 25/11/2016 13:42

I prefer Marielle.
However if neither have stood out for you after 3 weeks maybe neither is really 100% right for you.

KlingybunFistelvase · 25/11/2016 15:54

Callie Mariella is gorgeous! Congratulations on the new arrival Flowers.

^^this is an excellent point though.

Another vote for Mariella Rose.

That is a good point to think about!
I think it's just more i Ike both names lots and can't decide which one I want her official name to be as I will most likely call her both like I am now anyway

Mariella is beautiful. Really lovely. Gorgeous for a child and elegant for an adult. Callie sounds like a shortening/nickname for something unidentifiable. Go with Mariella.

Definitely not both together, too many similar sounds.

Sophronia · 25/11/2016 20:23

Mariella Rose would be lovely

Raines100 · 25/11/2016 23:05

Mariella Rose!

JudgeJudySheidlin · 25/11/2016 23:10

Callie Mariella Rose sounds superbWink

Pluto30 · 26/11/2016 00:30

The allie sound in Callie and the Arrie sound in Mariella (plus the ella sound at the end) clash way too much for them both to be used, IMO.

Mariella is nicer. Mariella Rose.

HerRoyalNotness · 26/11/2016 00:44

What about Calliope with Callie as NN

Then you could have

Calliope Mariella
Calliope Rose
Mariella Calliope

orangebird69 · 26/11/2016 00:54

Leave out Callie. Mariella Rose is lovely.
