DH and are cannot find a boys' name we both agree on for our second child, unlike first time round when it was unanimously Edward! We both loved it when I was pregnant and still love it now.
This time it's a different story! We just can't find a name we both equally like. DH loves Miles which I liked initially but I'm now having reservations amd am just not convinced.

I love traditional, 'safe' names and would like an Old Testament name either as first or middle name. If first name is not OT in origin then middle name will be Samuel. If first name is OT then middle name may be Peter.
I love:
Benjamin
Reuben
Theodore (Theo/Ted)
Arthur

Please suggest some others I can run by DH!

My ds1 is Edward too! Ds2 is called Samuel. Others on our list for both boys were Daniel and Toby. I think both work with Edward. Unfortunately I don't think Samuel works as a middle name for either but Peter would. Tobias Peter though maybe nn Toby. Benjamin is another I like. Benjamin Samuel could work. Does Edward have a nn? Congratulations on ds2, boys are great!!

I know an Edward and Jack
and an Edward and Nate (Nathaniel)

I actually love Edward and Miles- Miles not nearly as popular as Arthur etc so will sound fresher IMO

Some great feedback and ideas here- thanks! Our Edward goes by his full name which I originally thought was a bit old for a baby but he really suits it! I'm swinging back to Miles a bit, still love Reuben and now DH has thrown Timothy into the mix! Not sure what I think of the latter, it seems very much my parents' generation. I'm so indecisive!
