Aspen just seems like such a nice name!

Honest opinions?

It's a lovely ski resort, I'm not so sure it's a lovely name....

Pooka · 21/11/2016 15:43

Don't like it I'm afraid. Makes me think of a snake (asp) or jelly (Aspic). Just doesn't sound good to me.

Chinlo · 21/11/2016 15:44

Ski resort.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 21/11/2016 15:48

Ski resort.

Blue2014 · 21/11/2016 15:49

Also looks a little bit like "alpen" (the cereal) sorry

DearMrDilkington · 21/11/2016 15:51

Made me think of painkillers.

IEatCannibals · 21/11/2016 15:52

Prefer Beaver Creek.

lizzieoak · 21/11/2016 15:55

Sounds like the syllable "ar" is missing. Just sounds like painkiller.

Where I live Cedar is not an uncommon name.

FizzBombBathTime · 21/11/2016 15:57

Reminds me of the film dumb and dumber

OldRosesDoomed · 21/11/2016 16:01

Opened the thread to say DH loves it. To ski. Goes every Feb with DS. They have a great time.

I like it.

Elbi · 21/11/2016 19:08

Oh I love Aspen. It was on my list but couldn't find a good shortening without conjuring snake/Cleopatra images.

JessieDoops · 21/11/2016 21:28

Same as above... Painkillers

Secretspillernamechange · 21/11/2016 21:34

It's a type of woodchip you use as snake bedding, sorry.

DoYouRememberJustinBobby · 21/11/2016 21:56

It makes me think you're American.

KoalaDownUnder · 23/11/2016 15:10
