Archer

We're getting closer and Archer is still up there on our boys list. (I love Iris and Cecelia for a girl!). What are your thoughts on it? Are there similar names you prefer?

I like it but then I'm not adverse to names which may be considered Surnames (which this kind of is?)
I much prefer it to Archie. Though he may get Archie as a nn?
I also like Asher which is similar.

Yes, why not, much nicer than Archie.

I have an Archer! We've gotten a lot of compliments. He's sometimes mistaken for Archie though, but that's a lovely name anyway so it's no big deal for us. He will be called Archie so you'll have to correct people from time to time.
