Hi
I've just found out I'm pregnant and thinking of baby names. I'm not sure about boys' names yet but what are your thoughts on Simone Natalie for a girl?

I like it

KoalaDownUnder · 17/11/2016 15:06

I don't like it, I hate the 'moan' sound in Simone.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 17/11/2016 15:15

Natalie or Natalia Simone flows better

Chinlo · 17/11/2016 15:17

I'm not sure how well the -n- sound flows into the second name from the first.

But I love the name Simone. We are thinking of using it as middle name for future DD. (Nina Simone

I don't like it, sorry.

I absolutely love Simone. It's classic, not too popular and has that slightly 70s French feel I like. Natalie is nice too. But together I feel they are too similar to really flow well. Having said that, I'm not sure how much a perfect middle name matters really- once you've announced it, it rarely gets used.

I quite like Simone, it's not a name I hear very often. However, I think Natalie Simone flows better.

katiegoestoaldi · 17/11/2016 15:58

Simone is bloody awful, I agree with a PP, it's the 'moan' in it and it sounds so droney. I knew a Simone once, her name was pronounced See-mon though, didn't like that either (Not that I ever told her!)

Natalie is absolutely lovely though

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/11/2016 19:42

Simone Natalia is very nice OP.

Natalie is my favourite girls name for ever. But I don't like Simone, and it doesn't go.
