I think it's the one. Would just like a few opinions first!

Very American sounding. Are you from there?

justtowarm · 07/11/2016 23:25

Not my cup of tea, it's a bit toddlers and tiaras. But I'm sure lots of people will like it and ultimately go with what you like :)

Diamondsandpurls · 07/11/2016 23:25

It sounds like Anne Boleyn

IamNotDarling · 07/11/2016 23:26

I think she'd quickly be called Ambulance at school.

Amber is lovely unless your surname is Green.

TheCaptainsMum · 07/11/2016 23:26

I was going to say the same as Diamonds!

Ambulance??? ConfusedConfusedConfused

We're both American born, but no longer live there.

Diamonds took the words out of my mouth or rather key board

GreenStraws · 07/11/2016 23:27

Sounds like someone misheard Anne Boleyn, sorry.

crje · 07/11/2016 23:27

Amber is lovely

DownWithThisSortaThing · 07/11/2016 23:27

I thought Anne Boleyn too, when I said it out loud.
I really like Amber on its own though.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 07/11/2016 23:28

Anne Boleyn!

Spottyladybird · 07/11/2016 23:28

Sounds like Anne Boleyn. Not much fun when you're studying Tudor history.

BertrandRussell · 07/11/2016 23:28

You are, I presume, joking?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/11/2016 23:28

How about
Amber-Leigh
Amber-Jade
Amber-Mae
Amber-Lily

GreenStraws · 07/11/2016 23:29

No sorry... I've seen it on baby name websites

OP posts:
annatha · 07/11/2016 23:29

I hear Anne Boleyn too, sorry.

BackforGood · 07/11/2016 23:30

Really don't like it.
Not a fan of 2 names running together.
Personally I'm not keen on 'Amber', although Lynn is OK (although does create the 'how do we spell it' issues)

Pluto30 · 07/11/2016 23:33

Anne Boleyn again.

Amber with the middle name Lynn is fine. As is Amber with the middle name Lee. I'm not a fan of spelling Lee like Leigh. It's unnecessary letter adding.

Amber Lynn Surname / Amber Lee Surname.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 07/11/2016 23:36

I didn't read it as Anne Boleyn (although I do now!).

I read it as ambling. I.e "Here I am, just ambling along."

Amber or Amberley are nice.

GlitterGlassEye · 07/11/2016 23:38

Anne Boleyn. Sorry. Very nice name though and I studied history to higher level at school in the 90's and we didn't go that far back.

Just my own personal interest in history reminds me of her.
