We can't have Jemima.

Do you prefer Gemma?

Gemma as it's the way my sister spells it

AshTreeInWinter · 04/11/2016 21:57

Oh can't have Emma either.

Yeah I can't decide between Gemma or Jemma, I feel like Jemma looks nicer?

I'm the G spelling so it seems more "normal" to me.

I like Jenna though.

IAmNotACat · 04/11/2016 22:00

Gemma or Jenna. If you use Jemma she'll constantly be saying 'Jemma with a J'.

Gemma is a really nice name though.

CupofTeaTime · 04/11/2016 22:05

I'm a Jemma with a J and do like having it spelt this way, however I constantly have to say it's 'Jemma with a J' a slight annoyance but I prefer it to Gemma.

Jojay · 04/11/2016 22:18

Jemma is gorgeous, much nicer than Gemma - not sure why!

ViewBasket · 04/11/2016 22:25

I like Gemma with a G.

Sophronia · 04/11/2016 22:42

My cousin is a Jemma with a J. I prefer that spelling.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 04/11/2016 22:44

I prefer Gemma, because the link to gemstones is more obvious.

WussyWat · 04/11/2016 22:58

My best friend is Jemma. So I am biased but I much prefer that spelling Grin Just think it looks nicer on paper.

HarleyQuinzel · 04/11/2016 23:09

I prefer it with a J

DameSquashalot · 05/11/2016 03:02

I prefer Gemma. Jemma looks wrong to me. (Only because I've only seen Gemma)

Pluto30 · 05/11/2016 03:05

Gemma if you like that name.

Jenna if you like a J spelling.

Overthinker2016 · 05/11/2016 03:10

Jemma with a J
Also Jem a cute nick name

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 05/11/2016 08:52

Jemma (Jem).

Jemma1118 · 08/11/2016 15:49

Im Jemma with a J. I'm glad my name is with a J rather than a G. I do need to say to people to spell it with a J but it doesnt bother me in the slightest Smile

princesshaley · 08/11/2016 16:02

I like both spellings too, but since you seem to like Jemima, I would go for Jemma as it's closest.

Enidblyton1 · 08/11/2016 16:06

Jemma!
It's more unusual than Gemma and I think it looks nicer.

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 08/11/2016 16:10

My sister is Jemma with a J (but she does have to say exactly that when giving her name over the phone etc)

Mozfan1 · 08/11/2016 16:17

I'm Jemma, much prefer it spelt with a j, small price having to explain it when you give people your name tbh

RiverTam · 08/11/2016 16:18

Jemma looks much nicer than Gemma.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/11/2016 16:20

I like Jemma
