girls name - please help

Hi. I'm expecting dc3 and it's not any easier this time... again, the most difficult decisions are the baby name and the pram...

We were told it's a girl and the name Nadia keeps coming to my mind but dad disagreed. So here are some other proposals (spelling as where I'm from but would like it to be acceptable for people here):

Natalia
Agata
Marta
Amelia
Monika
Klara
Pola

What do you think? please help, last time it was a nightmare and my daughter had no name until the latest possible registration day.

I like Marta, Natalia and Klara (though prefer Clara).

Amelia is nice too but seems very popular (where I am anyway!).

Natalia, Monica or Clara (sorry, I dislike the 'K' spelling on the latter two, unless they are the usual spellings for other nationalities of which you or DP are a part of, in which case fair enough)

May I also suggest Naomi?

Natalia is my favourite.

Marta is my favourite.

Nadia is pretty. I only know 1 Nadia, and she's lovely. Shame your husband doesn't like it.

Natalia or Natalie or Marta are also quite pretty names.

Amelia is lovely, but VERY popular, so you'll hear it a lot.

Monica (with a c) sounds quite dated; I think it was popular in the 80s.

Not familiar with the others, except Clara, and not a big fan.

I like nadia. Otherwise I'd pick Natalia from your list.

I agree Amelia is extremely popular now and this really discourages me.

Thank you for suggesting Naomi - lovely name but there is no such name in my language so would make it difficult for grandparents etc.... hence the list.

Natalia seems to have the most votes so far. I also had Olga and Lidia on my list - not sure if anyone likes them as they don't seem to be popular at all.

Really not keen on Olga and your DD will be forever telling people that it's spelt Lidia not Lydia if you chose that name.

I like Agata a lot. I know a STUNNING one.

Natalia - Ok
Agata - harsh sounding, not keen
Marta -very pretty
Amelia - popular, but if you love it choose it
Monika - I think of an adult & not a baby
Klara - another cute name. I prefer the spelling as Clara, however if Klara is better with you then that's great too
Pola - NO!

Very much like Natalia, very pretty. I like Amelia too but know so many little Amelia's.

Love Lidia too

All the others are still nice but those are my favourites

(apart from Olga I don't like that one sorry)

I think Natalia is a bit of an 80's name

I love Nadia and Lydia is nice. Amelia is very popular. Not too keen on the other choices sorry.
