Girls name help

Hi,

Expecting baby no1 and don't know gender. Decided on boys name and it will be Stanley, appreciate that might not be to everyone's taste. I have just put it on so you can get an idea of taste.

Girls names so far our favourites are May, Ada and Elsie. But also liked Erin, Faye, Nora, Ruth. So we tend to like short names and my preference is what I would call 'older' names. Others I like but other half hates are Martha, Frances, Maisie, Maggie, Nancy.

So far I love May out of our list but other half isn't 100% sure on his favourite, if any, so was just wondering if there are any others you can think of that might be to our taste.

I really wish these old people names would go out of fashion really unattractive names

Not everyone likes names such as this but I love them. Admittedly the only baby I'll be naming nowadays is a pet dog I think Stanley is a magnificent name & goes well with:

In fact any name that ends in a, apart from Esme

Nearly all names are "old people names" as they will have been fashionable at some time in the past, and will probably come around again in the future.
