Not expecting yet but discussing over a pleasent glasss of wine (dh has gone to the loo so I thought I'd quickly turn to mumsnet!! (boys name decided)

We love:
Daphne
Florence
Esme
Nora
Which is best & please add any suggestions!

Nora - I've met one, she was such a beautiful little girl

Daphne is the worst by far. I like both Esme and Nora in equal measure. Florence is nice but increasingly popular nowadays.

What is the boys name you've decided on?

We love Henry for a boy

Florence and Esme equally lovely, followed by Nora (which appears to be gaining in popularity).
Sorry, not keen on Daphne.

Daphne or Nora, they're currently more unusual / less popular than the other two

Thanks for the replies, I think Nora is probably my favourite too & it's a name of a very beloved family member, Daphne next followed by Florence & Esme...

Florence then Nora for me!

It's probably just my age but Nora just makes me think of Nora Batty off of Last of the Summer Wine, and Daphne will always be the one in the coma on Neighbours....

So on that basis, Florence & Esme! [tlhsmile]

I like Daphne and Nora.

I don't like Nora at all, & I'm not that keen on Esme either.

Florence is nice, but I absolutely adore Daphne.

So my vote is for Daphne.

How about Mabel, or Delphine (Delphie).

Favourites are Nora and Esme.
