Madeline (prn. Mad-uh-line) - 10/10. Love the spelling and pronunciation.
Norah - 5/10. Prefer the spelling Nora, but not that fussed either way.
Matilda - 8/10. Love. Gets two points taken off for the nicknames Tilly and Tilda, which I hate.
Emmeline - 2/10. Too fussy and overdone for me. I like Emily and don't mind Emma and Emmy though, funnily enough.
Olive - 9/10. Love. Would've considered this if it went with my surname.
Tallulah - 1/10. Reminds me a duck, for some reason (I assume there was a duck character named Tallulah at some point, otherwise Christ knows where I got this association from).
Adelaide - 1/10. City in Australia, also known as the murder capital of the world.
Esmee - 7/10. Like this, but prefer it spelt Esme.
Zara - 2/10. Not keen. Overpriced, ill-fitting clothes come to mind. I also just prefer Sarah for a similar name.
Elspeth - 1/10. Hate, sorry.
Thomasina - 9/10. I actually love this. I know a girl with this as her middle name and always thought it was awesome. May only work if there's Italian heritage though.
Aleydis - 1/10. No idea how to pronounce this.
Clothilde - 1/10. All I see is "clot".
Thisbe - 1/10. Horrible.
Ottilie - 1/10. Otters.
Margot - 1/10. Just sounds ugly, IMO.
Bronwen - 1/10. Old lady name. My grandmother has about three friends named Bronwen/Bronwyn and they all get Bron/Bronny for short (awful).
Benjamina - 1/10. Would think this was made up, if it isn't.
Rosalind - 1/10. Knew a weird Amish-like lady named this once. She got Roz for short.
