Nicknames may be inevitable but I love the name anyway

You can avoid the nicknames, of course. But her friends may not.

It's a lovely name. My friends daughter is called Victoria, she avoided nick names altogether. I also know an Alexander, who avoided them too.
It can be done !

One of my favourites but she will become Fran!

I know 4 Francesca's and everyone calls them Fran or Cheska.

You may be able to avoid nicknames yourself but she may choose her own nickname once she's at school.
