Elodie or Eliza or Sukie

Still trying to agree, so Tabitha is out as DH not keen and consensus seems to be Thea is too short with our surname which is Grey

Eliza is a family name though I'm not really sure about it.

I like Elodie DH unsure.

Still wondering about Susanna nn Sukie. Couldn't bear thought of her being called Sue though.

Eliza with your surname just makes me think of this

Eliza and Elodie are my two favourite names! Both go great with your SN

PotatoBread · 15/10/2016 18:57

Elodie by a mile

pilotswife · 15/10/2016 18:58

Love Susannah

crapfatbanana · 15/10/2016 19:00

Susannah Grey - yes! It sounds very literary.
Susie Grey
Sukie Grey

SorenaJ · 15/10/2016 19:02

Elodie

DramaAlpaca · 15/10/2016 19:08

Susannah Grey sounds really good.

Of your other choices, I like Elodie best.

TheWrathFromHighAtopTheThing · 15/10/2016 19:10

Susannah and Eliza sound fantastic with your surname.

Sukie is beyond dreadful though.

MrsDc7 · 15/10/2016 19:11

Sukie makes me think of Bill whispering... SOOKIE xx

strawberrypenguin · 15/10/2016 19:12

I really like Eliza

How about Erin if you like E names?

Chinlo · 15/10/2016 19:18

Eliza

Elizalou01 · 15/10/2016 19:28

Thanks for the responses. I've been looking at nn for Susanna and Zanna seems to be one which I quite like. Though I don't like Suzannah with a Z

Potentially Susanna Elodie Grey

Or Elodie Susanna Grey

I like Elyse as well though DH says he thinks of the champs elysees.

It's a good job I'm not this indecisive in the rest of my life!

They are all great names.

Pemba · 15/10/2016 19:40

Susanna is gorgeous - (one of the best names ever!), and still fairly unusual. I like it either with or without an 'h' on the end, but I agree that a 'z' in the middle doesn't look so graceful written down, somehow. Zanna would still be a possibility as a nickname either way. I like Sukie or Sukey as a nickname too, as it's a bit more unusual than Susie - which I also like. I don't think you''ll get Sue, just discourage it if it comes up.

I also like Elodie and Eliza though, you have good taste!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/10/2016 19:56

Susanna Elodie Grey is amazing OP.
Love Zanna, I have one, but mine is spelt Zannah, short for Roxanne.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/10/2016 19:58

P.S. Sukie is sweet.

BennyTheBall · 15/10/2016 19:59

Sukie is a cat's name from the 1970s.

I have 2 friends called Sue and both are Susannah.

Love Elodie (although it's becoming too popular around these parts) and really like Eliza.

BarInSpace · 15/10/2016 21:35

Susannah is nice, but I prefer Susie and Zanna to Sukie. Lucy is another option with the same oo-ee vowels.

17caterpillars1mouse · 15/10/2016 22:25

Eliza - it's pretty, ages well and is a family name (bonus)

Elodie would be second choice but seems a bit less pretty

Sukie is a no from me

What about Eloise? Similar to Eliza and Elodie

BreakHerOffAKitKat · 15/10/2016 22:28

What about something like Ramona?

I love Eliza, it was our second choice

Sophronia · 15/10/2016 22:28

Susanna is a beautiful name

crje · 15/10/2016 22:33

I like Eloise Grey

bluechameleon · 15/10/2016 22:33

I love Susanna (definitely with an s not a z). I also love Eliza. Elodie is pretty but not as good as the other two!
