Abigail and Ruby are unfortunately tainted for me because of people I've known with the name .
Mabel is very popular for dogs .

Ruby - very popular, a bit too Victorian bar maid for me
Amelie - pretty (also v popular along with all the Amelias/Emilias etc)
Abigail - sounds rather plain to me
Isabelle - prefer the spelling Isobel but a lovely, lovely name. Also 10 a penny round here
Isla - lovely, prefer it with a Scottish connection, v v popular
Mabel - granny chic, not my taste

Abigail - don't come across it as much as the others. So many Islas and Isabelles about. Mabel is cute for a baby/toddler just not so sure about it for a 30 something.

Ruby - lovely gemstone name, has become popular but doesn't put me off
Amelie - faddy, prefer Amelia
Abigail - beautiful, classic Biblical name, timeless
Isabelle - like but super-popular
Isla - faddy, not keen
Mabel - too fusty

But I do love Isobel, spelt that way. Don't mean to be petty!

I like Isla best - supposed to be very popular, but I only know one round by us. Isabelle is my second favourite, though I prefer Isobel spelling. That and Amelie are extremely popular.

Not really keen on Ruby or Mabel.
