I think I've narrowed it down to
Joseph
Christopher (nn Kit)
Hugo

Would really appreciate opinions / suggestions 😊

I think they are all lovely but in order my choice would be:
Christopher as it has lots of options, Kit as you said and Chris,
Hugo
Joseph

I like Christopher! Classic, cool and underused.

Hugo is quite 'trendy' and I don't like Joe or Joseph personally.

I agree with Ilovewillow. I really like all three, but I think Christopher is best, then Hugo, then Joseph.

It has to go well with surname though as no real nn - maybe phonetically hugh shorter as nn?

Think in order from favourite to least I would say:

1. Christopher - love Kit as a nn and think Christopher is underused ATM
2. Hugo - love this too but it is a little trendy I think
3. Joseph - also lovely, though maybe a little bit blah to me as I know a few of varying ages. It is lovely though
