We like unusual names, and old fashioned girls names but not boys.

I'm totally drawing a blank. Please help!

George

Henry

Those are the sort of names I would expect if you were introducing me for the first time!

You might like just something simple.

Samuel (Sam) I dont think that is old fashioned

Peter

Charlie

Albert is lovely but against your criteria

Henry

Princess, my first thought was Artie, as that was my Auntie Mabel's brothers name.
Auntie Mabel was a neighbour, not a relative.
Mabel and Artie sound good.

shaggedthruahedgebackwards · 01/10/2016 17:56

My immediate thought was Ted but you might not want to end up with a Play School theme!

clary · 01/10/2016 17:58

I heart Mabel, DH vetoed it for some unknown reason.

On that basis, boys' names that I also love are:

George
Freddie
Wifred
Albert
Alfred
Arthur
Edwin/Edgar
Cedric
Stanley
Henry

HTH :)

Sorry I jus read your OP properly and I see that you don't like old-fashioned boys' names. Ooops ignore my list then :)

Sandsnake · 01/10/2016 18:02

Cedric sprang to mind, but think that probably counts as old-fashioned. Reuben, Edward and Caspar also came into my head - though not sure why!

Orson
Gabriel
