Honest opinions on Pablo? We are Spanish, but living in the UK.

Great name!

I live in South America and find it quite a boring name (kind of like Paul in English!). But that's just me. It will certainly be more unusual in the UK of course.

I don't like it that much, I think there are nicer Spanish names, but nothing wrong with it.

Love Diego though.

My tool of a BIL is Nacho so am not a fan .

Hector? Diego and Hector sound totally badass.

Or Sancho. It has a nice ring.

Pablo definitely wouldn't be my first choice of Spanish names for boys. I agree with the pp who said there are lots of nicer Spanish names you could use.

That said, if I met someone called Pablo I definitely wouldn't raise an eyebrow; it's perfectly nice, just not my first choice.

Diego is awesome btw. Love it!

I love Pablo. Think it's very cool. My Ds is Santiago but I know that's very common ( but not where we live).

I met a Pablo this week. I love it.

I like it. I used to teach a Pablo and he was a sweetheart.

I love, love, love Rafael (Rafa) for short . I think it's pretty much the coolest boys' name ever. Unfortunately, it would sound rather daft with our very English surname.
