Casey?

I'm being induced in 4 days. Expecting a boy. Dp and I can't agree on any names but have both said we quite like Casey. I know it originated as a boy's name but has also gained popularity as a girl's name too, so we are just wondering what people's thoughts are?

Also does anyone have any suggestions for similar names? Thanks!

I like it a lot! It was on our list, but in the end I decided a name ending in an "ee" sound just wasn't for me.

I still think it's really cool though. The girl usage is mostly in the US I think, where they use basically any name they please for girls, so that doesn't mean much here in the UK.

Really like it but it's quite 80s American isn't it? I imagine a little league baseball player when I hear it.
What about Cameron?
Is there a longer time that could be shortened to Casey? It doesn't sound like a full name more a nick name.

How about Cary? Like Cary Grant.

I know a little Ace. I admit I was pretty about the name at first but you get used to it.
