Help with names and pairings please!

We've got two very long short lists of names, all of which DH and I like but none in particular really sing to us to be honest and I'm also really struggling to pair first and middle names together as well as thinking through what 'goes with' our DT's names.

We have a single syllable surname beginning with M. DTs are Rosa and Lilian. We have a vague family tradition for boys having Scottish names but don't have to stick with that.

Can you help with any new ideas, pairings and which 'go with' DT's names please?

Personally, I'd miss out anything with the same initial or similar sound as your current children - can you imagine trying to shout for Leila and Lilian together, or Rosa and Joseph? I'd get tangled!

Sophie and Grace are nice but not as interesting as your other two. That probably leaves you with Iona, Ciara and Cora. How about Catriona?

For a boy, Patrick, Munro and Angus sound good.

You obviously have quite different taste to me, but out of your lists I'd choose

Logan - most of the names are ok with that for a middle name Samuel/Thomas/Patrick/Robert/Vaughan. But not others Corin/Munro/Orion/Joshua

Josephine (Josie) Grace

Thomas and Samuel for boys. Like Sophie and Cora for girls names.

I think I've just fallen in love with Tessa Wren though foxato!
