DS is due in December. Husband and I want a Persian name that is quite Anglicised. Our surname is very forrin-sounding and we would like his name to reflect a bit of both cultures if that makes sense.
I sort of think that Sam is too bland but Cyrus is too "out there". Also, is Sam always short for something or can I use it on its own? (It would be pronounced "Saam" in Farsi and I am not massively keen on that either).
