As siblings? Are they too similar sounding?

We have an Asa and just found out we're having another boy..

The only other name I quite like is Cassius..

Ideas very welcome!

I prefer Cassius, and it is more unusual.
I think Asa and Cassius, sound better together, than Asa and Ezra.
Hope this helps.

Love love love Asa. Really like Ezra too but maybe they are too similar.
What about Eli, Levi, Seth to keep in a similar vein?

PotatoBread · 10/09/2016 21:55

Too similar IMO. Cassius is good and more unusual than Ezra. Goes better with Asa too

LotisBlue · 10/09/2016 21:57

They are both nice but a bit too similar. How about Reuben?

EllenDegenerate · 10/09/2016 22:15

No, you can't have both.

Call him Cassius, it's nice.

TeaAddict235 · 10/09/2016 22:18

All very lovely names.
Asa and Cassius my favs though out of the three.

Asa= very wise king in old testament
Cassius=makes me think of Cassius Clay

JazzAnnNonMouse · 11/09/2016 03:24

Go with cassius - lovely name :)

MrsGsnow18 · 11/09/2016 09:44

How is Asa pronounced? I was thinking that even Cassius is quite similar to Asa ( with the letters as inside)
I do think Ezra is too similar and also becoming a bit too popular at the moment too.
I like ladyvimes suggestions above!

I really like Ezra (would have used it for dc2 if they'd not had turned out to be a girl) but I think it is too similar to Asa. I think I'd look for something similarly short for your second son though. Cassius seems a bit too different to me.
