Naughty boy name?

Trying to decide a name for ds2 - have to register by Thurs! Wanted quick poll on whether ethan is a bit chavvy/ naughty boy, or not??

In my experience, boys called Ethan are well-behaved, polite boys.

Boys called Tyler, on the other hand... Never known one who wasn't a complete nightmare in school.

Ethan doesn't have good connotations for me, sorry.

Only taught one and he was lovely.

I wasn't allowed Laurie/Larry/Laurence either. Sob.

Is 'naughty boy name' some kind of code for 'unashamedly working class'?

It would seem so.

I don't like the look or sound of Ethan. It reminds me of ethanol and just doesn't sound elegant imo.

But naughty...

Do you think when teachers at Eton are scanning the incoming class list they think 'bloody hell, not another Horatio. They're always brats!'
